Nowadays, physical appearance is very important to many people. Everybody wants to be handsome in the case of men and pretty in the case of women. Lots of clinics were set up due to the amount of people who want to improve their appearance. But do they know the risks of these sort of surgeons?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, too many people do not concern about the risks they can take with these operations. There are lots of clinics which do not have proper procedures to perform these surgeons. Although this surgery has become very common, nobody gives the importance they really have, and what is more, lots of people dye every year because of the personnel who does the surgery, and sometimes they do not have the degree they should have got at university. In addition, these behaviours have become so popular that some parents give their children as a gift for their birthdays or graduation, so it means that teenagers have become the best customs to these sorts of businesses.
On the other hand, there are lots of hospitals which have doctors who advise people the best option they can take. Furthermore, they tell their patients the risks they are going to take too, because in lots of cases they are going to involve in general anaesthetic so it might carry on with serious damages in their health and even the risk of death. Another point of view is that these clinics usually are very expensive, so that is the reason why many people choose cheaper ones, without knowing the danger that these decisions might have.
In conclusion, people should think about this topic seriously. In my opinion we are born with our own characteristics and change our physical appearance is something without importance. Life gives us several health problems during our lives so I would avoid to get into a hospital the latest I could.
Nowadays, our body image or our facial image has become a very relevant for a large part of the population, overall in developed countries. This has caused and causes opinions for and against, as there are people who believe that personal image is the key to their future opportunities, while there are other people who think that what matters is the inner aspect of the person.
ReplyDeleteCosmetic surgery has many advantages, for example, in the case of a serious accident that disfigures our face, a reconstructive cosmetic surgery would be psychologically good for the injured. Another case to illustrate the benefits of such surgery would be the women who feel losing their femininity after amputation of a breast through cancer.
However, there are a big number of important arguments against plastic surgery. First of all, in many cases the result is worse than it had in the beginning, due to malpractice or problems during the process. Secondly, when someone operates a part of his or her body thinking that could become a different person, he or she makes a big mistake. Finally, our intellect and our intelligence are not likely to improve with this kind of surgery, so the dignity should be beyond our physical.
In conclusion, I believe that cosmetic surgery may be needed for a reconstructive cases, while cosmetic surgery for purely aesthetic is unnecessary in most cases. So, I would recommend that people invest more money in trying to be that in trying to appear.
